Annual Maths Trip to Bletchley Park

Charlotte Scott Centre for Algebra

On Friday the 18th of January 2019, the Annual Maths Trip took place, and this time to Bletchley Park, the home of the codebreakers.

During WWII, Bletchley Park was the location where the Enigma code was cracked by multiple mathematicians including the famous Alan Turing.
In this trip as well as exploring the exhibitions, buildings and grounds of Bletchley Park there was also a workshop on the story of the Enigma.
