Awards Ceremony for Lincoln Mathematics Challenge 2020/2021


The Awards Ceremony for Lincoln Mathematics Challenge 2020/2021 will be held as an online meeting on MS Teams on Saturday the 13th of February at 15:00 and will last about an hour. 
 
All participants, their teachers, friends, family and members of the public are welcome!
As a participant you will receive a meeting invitation link. If you are a member of the public – please email to maths@lincoln.ac.uk before 12 February to receive an invitation to the online event. 
 
The ceremony will also include a public online lecture
by Prof. Evgeny Khukhro
“The role of Algebra in Mathematics”,
which will have interesting facts but also open the door to see a glimpse of modern algebra research. 
 
 

This year there will be no physical trophies – all trophies will be virtual as an image and will be sent by email.

 
 

 

 

 

Advanced Topics seminars by Anastasia Kisil and Richard Webb

On Tuesday the 9th of October 2018, as part of the Advanced Topics of Mathematics module, Anastasia Kisil (University of Cambridge) and Richard Webb (University of Cambridge) spoke at the University of Lincoln. They both gave very interesting talks on different aspects of mathematical research.
