On 21 December the 3rd year students taking the optional Maths and Physics Pedagogy modules had a poster presentation in the foyer of Isaac Newton building. The posters discussed the knowledge development of a particular topic from the National Curriculum for secondary education in mathematics or physics, including possible or existing misconceptions and potential inhibitors to learning.
The session marked the completion of this quite successful innovative module run jointly with School of Education (module coordinator Dr Rachel Sharpe). The session was also attended by members of staff and by teachers from the participating schools in Lincoln. Food and refreshments were provided by School of Maths and Physics.
